ARE YOU IN PURPOSE?

Dearest one

How are you doing today, it’s been a while I last saw you. Miss you so much, I hope you are well and you are happy where you are. I have no reason to be concerned because I know you are in good hands. Strong healthy hands that guide you to accomplish that which I created you for.

I remember when I first created you. It was a beautiful day, a sunny day, leaves dropping, the air cool from the water Brooke next to the shed, the wood was carefully selected for your place of assignment, I knew just where you will excel so I made sure you were perfect for the place of calling and equipped for the challenge ahead.

The steel I used for your head, its rare, unique suited just for you, no one else can carry it, no one else can use it effectively but you…………….oh my dear you are so special.

How is your guardian doing, I believe both of you are working together to get the job done, I trust your capabilities, as I earlier said in Jeremiah 1v5

 

As I earlier said in the beginning of my letter it has been a while, I miss hearing from you, you used to call me every day, we spent time together, I sharpened your steel, guiding you in the right path so you can be culturally relevant and  you were so effective, you made me proud, but of recent the logs sent over to me are not as many as you used to send, the report I get is that you are blunt, which is funny because you know spending time with me sharpens you, making you so effective and ready at all times.

Lately you spend more time focusing on trivial things that are not in line with your assignment, focussing more on activities than doing the actual work you were created to do, worrying about peoples opinion of you,selling your self short and struggling with the enemy on your own when am your strength, your guide, your protector, the Holy spirit mentioned you don’t even communicate with Him any more, ignoring the caution and advice he gives to you. You don’t even follow in the footsteps of you mentor....... Christ, am worried about you.

The work I sent you to do is yet to be done; I am depending on you my darling one. I am relying on you. This is not the time to be relaxed or lazy, it’s time to work, because the work is great but the laborers are so few (Matthew 9v 37) and its imperative you do the work now because a time comes when you won’t be able to do that which has been assigned specifically to you.

arise and get back to work I NEED YOU...............

I WANT MORE MORE LORD

He who hungers and thirst after………………………….. (Mattew 5v6)

I wonder what this scripture means to people in Somalia, not with the intention of being insensitive but I figure they can best describe how to hunger and thirst for something.

How to wake up in the morning with hunger pangs, searching and craving for food, water, etc.

The means of achieving these desires are alien to us because no matter how we complain, we find ourselves fed, these people without having the exact details are little or no options. depending on the relief brought to them.

So when I declare that I hunger and thirst after the Lord, I really have to ask myself do I mean what I say?

What’s the reality of that word to me?

How desperate am I to eat of His daily bread?

How eager am I to study and meditate on the word

Do I have the passion to wake up and search, search for replenishment?

Do I experience a pain when not fed by the word?

The tears that follow that lack of satisfaction, do I have that passion?

Am I aware of how refreshing it is to dwell and meditate on the word?

Am not there yet but I have to put this question out there

HOW DESPERATE ARE YOU TO EAT OF THE DAILY BREAD AND DRINK OF THE EVERLASTING WELL?

Being grateful is not an art, is not a profession nor a hobby, nor is it limited to a specie.

It is a way of life, its showing gratitude for what is made available to YOU

The expectation of receiving makes our eyes light up with excitement with an uncontrollable smile (do I detect a hint of self esteem boost (smiling)

Our RIGHT is another topic entirely; we are not obligated to shower a rain of gratitude because we believe we are entitled.

 But we should still show/give it anyways………………………..the source might decide not to give it, just as you will decide not to show appreciation.(hhhhhhhm now that’s a thought)

Show your gratitude to the smallest of all gifts, gestures, etc and watch how it will increase

COLOR ME

COLOR ME

Your colors make me beautiful

 you color me GREEN, making me flourish in everything I do, my life at that point is filled with the aroma of that early morning dew and flowers glistened with drips of water and the cool wind blowing, while I take a deep breath of air, that sweet early morning air….

Am so content in your presence, total surrender and vulnerable to Your strength, making me realize Lord that you color me PINK

You color me BLUE, as the sky free and bright, the clouds defined and when I look closely I can create images, understanding the gift of creativity You have blessed me with

You color me RED, reminding me of the blood shed for me on the cross, the pain felt on my behalf, the sacrifice so great, made just for me, just for me

You color me PURPLE letting me know I belong to a royal family, sitting right beside the Lord Jesus Christ, in complete realization of my inheritance, dressed fully in Your robe of covering and wearing the ring of ownership to You, surrounded by luxury and wealth

You color me YELLOW as the sun flower I radiate brightly under the sun, being the salt of the earth, reflecting Your light all over the world

You color me white, Your holiness so pure and true, knowing I can be holy because You are holy

You color me, am wrapped totally with Your colors Lord, fearfully and wonderfully made, standing out in total beauty and pride, a child of royalty, bold and confident, cloth in Your robe of many colors, I take long and proud strides just like Joseph in his coat of many colors.

Just as the lily represents a new life You restore me with Your amazing colors, making my life………….without a doubt COLOURED

Waiting..

So often we feel that we are the only ones endlessly waiting for things to come to pass in our lives.We wonder if God truly understands and relates to the pain of waiting,to the grief of longing for something,to the wondering if we will ever receive our heart's desire. As we fidget and manoeuvre our hearts and emotions to find a comfortable place in the midst of the waiting,we once again ponder how God feels.Has He ever had to wait for anything?The answer is yes!He waits for us to be reconciled to Him.He waits for us to love Him the way He loves us.He waits for us to walk in obedience to Him.

Oh,my friends,God is well acquainted with waiting!He waits for us to become all He created us to be and acquire.He is our portion and reward,and we are His joy.He constantly cares about our welfare.He waits to exalt Himself and reveal His goodness to us.He wants to be our greatest joy so that our joy can never be taken away.

My Super Hero

Growing up I had my fair share of choosing my favorite super heroes
Secretly wishing I could be one of them, I wear outfits customized with their names; speak their slangs (kazammm), (voltron force) color themes etc.

Every time a new super hero is introduced, I marvel at their given strength and I will never forget the character wonder woman, I believed strongly that I was a descendant of the Amazon ladies,………….. Well till I realize the disadvantage of being one then my love for wonder woman shifted.
My super Heroes kept changing just as I kept changing my decision on what I wanted to be in the future
I changed my choice of super heroes
Hollywood made it worst by presenting their awesomeness with costumes’ and film tricks
Each hero had a special power that makes them unique in their (for a lack of a better word) calling
Attached also is the reason for being who they are, traced back to their individual history.
Some were born that why (JEAN) others were scientifically created (WOLVERINE/CAPTAIN AMERICA), while others were accidentally created (SPIDER MAN), and my personal favorite the once that created themselves (BATMAN). They are so many, flash the fastest man alive, storm who controls the weather, Cyclops whose eyes beam out destructive light, thor ………I know he is strong with his hammer and every but I will have to mention his royal hotness………..the list goes on and on but it will not be complete without DANGER MOUSE (lol).

Idolizing them comes easily because they are tagged super humans, not being ordinary beings, super naturals if you will.
My search continued till I met the king of kings and the Lord of lords, needless to say my search ended
Lord I want you to know that despite my obsession on frictional characters, and their limited potentials You stand out completely.
Your strength is not determined by seasons
Your power exceeds the laws of nature
No one created You
Your awesomeness is not measurable oh mighty Lord
My father, my Lord, my king, my glory, my guide, the light on my feet and path way

Public Display of Affection-PDA

The concept of public display of affection a.k.a PDA is yet to gain good grounds in this part of the world. We still have folks who frown at it. Some people would frown at it but secretly long for it. Depending on the type of relationship, it could be a couple or a mother who pushes you away but her eyes twinkles when you force a hug on her.
Where am I going with this? I will tell you.

It all started when I was meditating on a statement I Hear every day, LOVE UP ON GOD..........its hard to decipher because I really feel short of what to do to express myself,with people it's easy because you have options for example gifts, gestures, words etc with God what are words when He is the word of life (1st john 1v1), what are gifts when He daily loads us with benefits, what are gestures when he is our covering(Ezekiel 16v6_14) are you planning to stage a surprise party? Check out rev 1v8 how can you surprise my God?
So since what I can do is not enough for me, I decided to have a movement this week, and to those interested I propose you join me , its call OPERATION PDA TO THE LORD
All we have to do is to publicly display our love to God, I suggest we lift up our hands and say I LOVE YOU LORD to the hearing of people around us( David was undignified for God, so I don't think am over reacting) surprise the Lord by doing what you won't do on a good day. Join me in this movement. Copy this message and post on your timeline for all your friends to join this movement.choose your personal love language but make sure is declared publicly.
One more thing, how about we all lift up our hands in unison at 12noon throughout out this week saying Lord I love you, let the Lord see the hands of his children all over the world lifted up to Him in love. So back to where we started LOVE UP ON THE LORD. 

Contentment

As excited as a man holding his very first grandchild
As a heart skips a beat when a crush walks by
Peacefully as a mother welcomes her children home for Christmas
Glowing like a bride on her wedding day
Energetic as when a young man turns the key to his dream car for the first time
Calmness of a toddler when finally in the embrace of his/her mum

The delight of a wife when her husband returns from a trip
The excitement of a football team when a goal is scored
When a thousand naira is found at the back pocket of a jean in those times (lol)
Refreshed when taking a cold favorite drink (coke of cos)
Joy of cutting a birthday cake.
Contentment of arriving home after a long hard day’s work
All these feelings cannot express how I feel about You. I love you Lord and I appreciate you for all that you have done for me, words really cannot express my gratitude, You mean the world to me and much more. Thank You so much Lord. I celebrate You permanently.

Vulnerability

One of the boldest steps you will ever have to take is being vulnerable with someone, something etc, it is a very risky step to take considering who you are being vulnerable with, it entails total surrender, total submission and total trust, and it takes courage because of the following pointers,
Being vulnerable-
It’s like going to war with no armour, relying on another for protection

Going shopping with no credit cards, depending on another for payment
Standing in the freezing cold trusting another for warmth.
It’s an agreement with no form of documentation to proof it, Lawyers will hate this one(lol) because this agreement will not stand a chance in the court of reason
Is being colour blind when others see the bright red stop sign, with the traffic official throwing him/herself in front of your brake less vehicle, heading to a place you do not know trusting who ever invited you.
The main question is are you able to withstand impacts from whom you are being vulnerable with because the bible says man will fail you;’psalm 146v3

A wise man once said “if you don’t know the use of a thing, person, situation…… abuse is inevitable” (Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo)
Abuse is the return ticket you will have on the way back from the journey of wrong vulnerability and the movie playing in that flight is the very popular epic called REGRET helping you relive the entire experience over and over again stopping you from reaching your destination, when you should be arriving the welcoming city of HEALING WOOD (kinda reminds me of the 40 years journey the Israelites embarked on).
Believe it or not at some point the REGRET airline gets tired of you and proposes to drop you off at one of the neighboring towns such as DEPENDAVILLE, BITTERLANE, LONELY DRY RESORT, SELF DOUBTING ESTATE and don’t forget the NEVER HAPPILY EVER AFTER LOW SELF ESTEEM with an added bonus of training you on how to gain a form of confidence in all the wrong places.
Right there beside you is a ticket stand, buying that ticket will take you on a first class flight journey in a speed of light to the arms of the MOST HIGH where you are free to be VULNERABLE with no fear, because His embraces will never fail you, His joy will envelop you completely and it will be your strength, His grace will cover you from the cold, His love will heal you and His promise will remind you who you really are, His shield will protect you, His hands will be mighty upon you, teaching you what to do.
Now…………I don’t know about you but that’s who I have every intention to be vulnerable with. TRUSTING GOD DAILY BECAUSE HE WILL NEVER FAIL ME (proverbs 3v5-8). I celebrate you all.

Follows the given information, showing a level of surprise, but really are we always that surprised?

It’s a new season, a new phase and a new level and to welcome change can be difficult, rolling out that expensive red carpet for change can be a major welcome herculean task.
Being in a comfort zone, can be bliss, but bliss at the expense of being stagnant? Is not worth it
So dear Lord here I am trusting in You completely because your word says trust in the Lord with all thy heart, with all they might and with all thy strength. He shall direct your path. (Who would like to join me in this prayer?)
Father I need your help to make the right decisions, Lord direct my path. help me be bold enough to take the right step toward fulfilling my purpose and assignment on earth, along side the people you have assigned to me, the wisdom i will require, the finance i will need and the anointing to attain greatness/........in Jesus name (AMEN)
